    00:00:00 Tanzania
The Tanzania-Zambia Railway (Tazara), a daring project financed by China to connect Zambia's Copperbelt to the East African coast. Despite being deemed too risky by the World Bank, the $500 million railway was completed in six years by Chinese and African workers. The 1860-kilometer track stretches from Dar es Salaam in Tanzania to Kapiri Mposhi in Zambia, overcoming dense forests, mountains, and rivers.
00:51:40 Argentina - Railway lines are not only legendary carriers of myths, people and machines. They are also the proof of high engineering skills and witnesses to the indomitable will of humankind to open up new routes into the unknown in order to conquer nature and its treasures.
    01:43:15 Peru
The Ferrocarril del Sur, one of the highest train routes on earth, runs right through the mountains of Peru. To this day, it is considered a miracle in the world of railways.
02:35:25 India - The film accompanies the
"Rameswaram Express" over the notorious Pamban Bridge, the first bridge across the Indian Ocean.

It’s an amazing railway through Africa, it must be an incredible asset to the people, I only hope that the train doesn’t destroy the wildlife and the wilderness like it did in the USA.

The Pamban bridge is now closed for safity reason, bridge is in very bad shape, as you can see the new bridge is now under construction. Max speed on the old bridge was 15 km/h. Only commuter trains in India has one driver, long distance trains has always 2 drivers.

"The Wall Street Journal stated in 1967, "the prospects of hundreds and perhaps thousands of Red Guards descending upon an already troubled Africa is a chilling one for the West. The United States funded the Tanzam Highway, which was built from 1968 to 1973, to compete with the railway."

This video is from the 1980s, so basically it's obsolete right now, and I don't think not one railway that they built then is still an operation now, in China has built billions of dollars worth the railroads and everything else in Africa and all around the world
